Zoology (Day Section)

The Department of Zoology was established in 1996 with a limited number of Faculty and facilities. During the past years the Department has made all round progress and acquired a position among the leading departments under the Calcutta University and regarded as premiere under the newly formed West Bengal State University. It offers both undergraduate and post graduate courses and plays a significant role in promotion of the Higher education among socially and economically backward classes of this district.
